It's used on the end of verbs:

E.g.
to envy -> ta envie
to worry -> ta ɯorrie
to hurry -> ta hêrie
to marry -> ta mârie

As well as in the middle of some verbs:

E.g.
to feel -> ta fiele
to steal -> ta stiele
to deal -> ta diele

-ies also serves as the plural ending of nouns that end in -y:

E.g.
enemy, enemies -> ènemy, ènemies
community, communities -> com̃unety, com̃uneties
policy, policies -> pólicy, pólicies
