English plurals for nouns ending in -fe typically change to -ves.

wife -> wives
life -> lives
wolf -> wolves
knife -> knives
loaf -> loaves
leaf -> leaves
calf -> calves

Inglish doesn't change f to v, but it does drop the silent -e on nouns and replace it with an -s for the plural form.
When f is next to s, the f is pronounced voiced like v.

ɯîfe -> ɯîfs
lîfe -> lîfs
ɯôlfe -> ɯôlfs
nîfe -> nîfs
loafe -> loafs
lýfe -> lýfs
càfe -> càfs
