Conjugation Patterns: -eie
In this section, we focus on how -eie verbs are conjugated across different tenses.
Present Tense:
The verb retains its -eie ending for all pronouns, except for the third-person singular, which drops -e and adds -s.
Examples:
ta conveie → conveis
to obeie → obeis
ta preie → preis
ta sleie → sleis
ta pôveie → pôveis
ta sôveie → sôveis
Past Tense:
The past tense drops -e and adds -d to the end.
Examples:
conveid
obeid
preid
sleid
pôveid
sôveid
Progressive Tense:
The -eie ending changes to -eying in the progressive form.
Examples:
conveying
obeying
preying
sleying
pôveying (the main stress is still on the -ey)
sôveying (the main stress is still on the -ey)
